About Mystique

Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mystique is a Nashville-based recording artist, songwriter, and producer blending pop-rock and alternative influences into an emotionally driven modern sound. Her music balances infectious melodies with introspective storytelling, exploring themes of heartbreak, healing, identity, and personal growth. 

On November 7, 2025, she introduced her artistic vision with her self-titled debut EP, later expanding it with Mystique (Complete Edition), a collection featuring her complete catalog to date.

Each release reflects a different chapter of Mystique's life—from navigating betrayal and rediscovering hope to confronting loss and learning to move forward. 

Drawing inspiration from the rebellious energy of Avril Lavigne while embracing the storytelling of artists like Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sabrina Carpenter, Mystique creates music that feels both emotionally vulnerable and unapologetically energetic.

Her songwriting has earned recognition from respected organizations in the industry. Her unreleased song The One was selected as a Top 40 song by the Nashville Songwriters Association, while Ninety Nine was named a semifinalist in the International Songwriting Competition. She was also selected by the Johnny Mercer Foundation, where she collaborated with accomplished industry professionals to further develop her songwriting and artistic voice.

Beyond songwriting, Mystique has built a growing presence as a live performer throughout Nashville. She regularly performs with her full band at venues including The End, The Cobra, Whiskey Jam, The Wedge, and others, while also appearing in writers' rounds such as Swift Showcase, 6 Strings and Me, PorchLight Pickers, and additional showcases throughout the city. She has also been invited to perform the National Anthem for Team Boxing League and Belmont University men's and women's basketball games.

Her music has been featured on regional FM radio and in publications including VoyageMichigan, The Sun and News, Local Spins, PublicBored, and CanvasRebel Magazine, reflecting the continued growth of her audience and artistic career.

As both a songwriter and producer, Mystique continues to evolve with every release. She is currently developing her next project, exploring grief, uncertainty, identity, and emotional accountability through some of her most personal songwriting to date. With each new chapter, she remains committed to creating music that is honest, memorable, and deeply relatable while continuing to establish herself as one of Nashville's emerging independent artists.
